Croeso – Welcome

After the easing of lockdown here in Wales, we will be re-opening our B&B, campsite, pub and restaurant from Monday 3rd August. We are taking small steps to re-open gradually and safelyand whilst some restrictions are still in place, we ask all of our visitors to respect social distancing and personal hygiene.

Our on-line booking system is operational for the B&B but we are only taking telephone bookings for the campsite.

We are still providing take-away food service available daily from 5pm. Our new menu is now available.
We hope to welcome you very soon..

A warm welcome awaits you at Y Giler Arms, a traditional Inn just off the historic A5 coaching route, a few miles from Betws-y-Coed on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

From mountains to lakes, castles to coast, Y Giler is in the perfect location to explore all that beautiful North Wales has to offer. Serving award winning real ale from the Purple Moose Brewery, and Welsh Pride from The Conwy Brewery, fine wines & home cooked food in our lakeside restaurant. We offer bed & breakfast accommodation and camping & caravanning facilities.

See our Events page for what is going on at Y Giler Arms this month.

We have 7 guest rooms (refurbished January 2018 & 2019), 6 with en-suite shower facilities, all offering flat screen television, free toiletries, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and free WIFI.

Caravan & Camping
Open all year except January and extreme weather conditions. Sunsets over the mountains provide the back drop for our Camping & Caravanning Club certified site. We have around two acres of level pitches with easy access for towing vehicles.

Dogs must be kept on a lead and under close control at all times as we are surrounded by working farm land and lots of sheep! Please clear up after your dog. Dogs are welcome in the Public Bar and in the Games Room.
